La Tim Metal and Industries Ltd. is a listed company in India and has been in the steel trade since 2013. It deals with importing and trading of Colour Coated Steel Sheets. The directors of the company Shri Rahul Timbadia and Kartik Timbadia have been in Steel Trade since 1971.
Rahul Timbadia was Director of Bombay Iron Merchants” Association for about 9 years. The company’s focus is on establishing the marketing for the pan India network of colour coated steel.
The South of India is a very big market for this product which has higher demand due to the fact most of the main plants like Jindal Steel, Essar Steel, Uttam Steel, Tata Steel etc. are located either in Eastern, Western and Northern India.
We cater to that market either by Imported Goods or goods from our factory sent through the coastal route. This has turned out to be an extremely viable and profitable model for us.
We continue to see and foresee substantial economic growth in India in the years to come. Steel is a commodity that is directly linked and proportionally connected to the growth of a nation.

In April 2018, La Tim Sourcing (India) Pvt Ltd, a 100% subsidiary of La Tim Metal & Industries Ltd a publicly listed company started production of colour coated sheets in India.
It has launched a state-of-the-art range of galvalume / galvanized pre-painted steel coils manufactured at its advanced Colour Coating Plant in Umbergaon, Gujarat in Western India. Galvalume products offer superior corrosion resistance compared to other coating technologies making your roof last longer even in the harshest of weather conditions.
This will enhance the total trading business catering to our various branches like Chennai, Cochin, Jaipur, etc. in the years to come!
To any end customer, the things that matter the most are the aesthetic impact of the product, the colour availability, and the long service life of the product. With LATIM, they can experience the threefold advantages of pre-painted steel viz. aesthetic appeal, variety of colours and durability with corrosion resistance.
Customers do not have to wait for delivery anymore. LATIM offers a wide range of coils in various thicknesses and specifications. To ensure superior product performance for our customers, LATIM Colour Coated Coils undergo several tests – hardness, heat resistance, flexibility and bending, chemical resistance, impact, MEK solution, salt solution etc.
